Re: Experience with Odoo Project module for Agile/Scrum
I have been using the module project_scrum that is template for the module project agile for several years now.
I think its working well, it have some ruff edges. There are always customers that have their own definition av Scrum but in most cases it works for both small to large projects.

I’m currently exploring the use of the Odoo Project module for managing projects with an Agile/Scrum methodology. Before diving deeper, I wanted to check if anyone in the community has experience using this module for Scrum-based project management.
If you have implemented Scrum workflows with Odoo Project, I would love to hear about your experiences, best practices, and any challenges you faced. Additionally, if there are any community modules that enhance Scrum functionalities within Odoo, I would greatly appreciate any recommendations.

OCA Stock Logistics Repositories Guidelines
Dear,As the amount of modules regarding logistics is continuously increasing, new additional repositories have been created for 18.0.I published this guideline with the list of repositories to help you to find out where to look for some modules and help you contribute to the right repository. In each v18 stock logistics repository README, you now have a mention and link to that guideline. You are migrating modules to 18.0? Check what is the right repository before opening your PR.Thanks to all contributorsRegardsJacques-Etienne Baudouxgh: jbaudouxOCA Logistics PSC Representative

Re: Re: recommendation to take meeting notes in 18.0
Hello Jan,If the meeting notes are related to project progress, you can use the project update feature on the project card to record project progress meetings. This feature allows for collaborative editing by multiple users. If the meeting notes are unrelated to projects, you can create a new meeting schedule (calendar.event) and record the notes within it.

Hello,
Many missing 18.0 (and 17.0) branches were published during the weekend.
You should see some 18.0 modules available now.
Thanks

We’ve ported one of our AGPL module that uses l10n_fr_siret and this block its publicaton. I’d rather avoid having to fork and rename the module and all the modules that depends on them.

Re: Aletrnative to mrp_workorder (MRP II) Shop Floor application?
What is missing for your shop floor requirements? We had issues with several of the basic assumptions for manufacturing, but these were easy to resolve (in part with a custom module that addressed the issues with other base modules).JP

RE: Aletrnative to mrp_workorder (MRP II) Shop Floor application?
Hi Radovan
My prospect is also looking for a Shop Floor alternative in Community Edition. The market seems to have a demand for it.
In my case, this prospect (a Finnish branch of a multinational corporation) has only seven users. They would have a two-tier ERP strategy: avoid expanding SAP and replace a legacy application with the Odoo manufacturing and shop floor apps. The corporation might implement the solution in other countries if it is successful.
Only for seven users (who would, after all, use only the manufacturing app) does the Enterprise license cost over 3000 EUR per year. Thus, funding for developing an OCA Shop Floor could be found by sharing the development cost with customers who have similar needs.
ystävällisin terveisin / kind regards,

is there any alternative to Enterprise's mrp_workorder (MRP II) Shop Floor application? I couldn't find any. There is a set of shopfloor modules in WMS repo but these seem to server warehouse scenarios, not manufacturing. Any advice is greatly welcome.

Re: Buy in one UOM and sell many UOM
HelloThis can be done in Standard Odoo CE by using BOM (kit type). Then about UOM, you can have a 'bottle of 70cl' (type volume is better for end user because he might think in 'cl') and you can use units UOM for your small/medium/large products. The BOM makes the job afterwardsBest regards--------------------------------
