File sharing with live chat
Hello Mates,Is there anyone using website live chat with file sharing possibilities? In all Odoo versions i have seen that only backend users can view shared files in the livechat. But the same breaks 'Document viewer' in the frontend for the public visitors. It seems that "ir.attachment" does not allow the public to access uploaded files.Any pointers would be appreciated.RegardsSyed

Re: Migration to v14 requirement - readony / invisible
I have faced today the problem with dynamic attributes in invisible:in the 13.0 view:so the sentence is correct. It seems the only exception is to get the value from the context (example: `invisible=context.get("key")`).Regards.

RE: Signature module
Thank you very much Alexis.
I will have a look at your module, it seems that it is what I am looking for.
Best regards.

Objet : Re: Signature moduleI developped for one of my customers a connector with YouSign https://yousign.com/
It supports the new Yousign API. It is a generic module that can be called from any Odoo object (sale order, purchase order, ...) a bit like the send mail wizard. You can define signature template requests related to any odoo object. Then the Yousign API is used to create the signature request on Yousign and follow its status. Once all signers have signed, it can trigger an action (confirm SO for example) via a hook.
It is currently available for Odoo v8, but it should be pretty easy to port to a more recent version of Odoo (less than one day of work).
Regards,

Re: V14, python version
Hi,An example of ugly code to support python 3.7 or lower is hereProbably this code should go in many modules. Thanks Moises for these informationsAs said by Olivier Dony:For Odoo.sh and SaaS deployment we generally use common sense: we run the version of Python that is shipped with the latest Ubuntu LTS at the time of the release, because that's what we deploy on. We expect it to be the most stable and the most widely run version for our users. For v13 that was Python 3.6, and for v14 that's Python 3.8Common sense helps a lot in life generally speaking. All those which implement odoo projects should be advised to follow common sense I suppose.OCA could help to spread the word of common sense.Update python version in project is not so challenging (specifically at the beginning of the project) compared to having specific code in modules according to versions.my 2 ctsConsultantOdoo Intégration / DéveloppementLe sam. 17 oct. 2020 à 12:01, Stéphane Bidoul <stephane.bidoul@acsone.eu> a écrit :Thanks for taking up the topic with Odoo SA Moises. Re: V14, python version
El jue., 15 oct. 2020 a las 18:27, Stéphane Bidoul (<stephane.bidoul@acsone.eu>) escribió:If we had unlimited travis resources we'd test on all python versions, but we are already very constrained by the concurrent workers on travis so that's not feasible unfortunately.Maybe that's another reason to dump travis and start using github actions, which according to https://github.com/pricing is 100% free for public repositories, and allows 20 concurrent jobs across an organization.Assuming one PR would be 9 concurrent jobs (python 3.6-3.9 * OCB/odoo + pre-commit), that's very good. It would leave us with a little more than 4 parallel PRs as we have today with Travis, but with the benefit of actually testing all things against all python versions. Besides, these tests can be in fail-fast mode, so in the moment one of them fails, all others stop and free resources for the next PR.
