Re: Bulk return of serials from multiple partner locations to wh/stock
If it is possible to find the correct outgoing shipment from a serial. It is possible to create a wizard to read barcodes and and create a stock.return.request allowing them to process it fast. stock_return_request didn't affect the original PO and WHIN (on my tests) and i couldn't be sure if it works as intended. needs to be migrated to 16 too. It might be easier to develop it similar to that module with your flow.Levent KarakaşEska Business SolutionsEGS Business Park B2 Blok Ofis No:1 Yeşilköy - İstanbul+90 212 663 34 50On Thu, Jul 20, 2023 at 8:31 AM George Daramouskas <notifications@odoo-community.org> wrote:Hi,

Re: Nested packages functionality in v15
I don't know if I can help you there, we've done quite the search for a module that can track individual parts of an assembled vehicle, and came up with nothing. What we're now doing is just to track the location of the assembled product (in our case a vehicle, in your case a box or a roll), the rest of the parts live in Virtual/Production location after being produced into a Vehicle. If a part comes off the vehicle, it's moved back from Virtual/Production into stock, and can from there on move indepently again. Odoo's "Repair" module models it in this way, but there of course you have to also put back in a replacement part.

Re: Nested packages functionality in v15
Our clients have a single product which is a sticker. These stickers are tracked by individual serial numbers and stored as rolls. These rolls are then packaged inside of a box. What they need is to be able to track the inventory in all three levels. We would like to see something like BOX1/ROLL2/STICKER20, BOX1/ROLL2/STICKER21, BOX1/ROLL3/STICKER17. The stickers are inside the rolls which are inside boxes. On Mon, Jul 17, 2023 at 1:37 PM tblauwendraat <notifications@odoo-community.org> wrote:Can you give an example of such a package? I reckon this used to be a base functionality of Odoo that has since been removed. Does anyone have or know of a module that supports this functionality for v15?

Multiple payment methods and journals in one provider
Hello everyone, For payment providers it is possible to connect a Payment Journal to a provider (e.g. Buckaroo, a Dutch payment provider can be coupled with the bank journal Buckaroo) but I would like to know if it is possible to connect multiple payment journals to payment methods within one payment provider. For example: Buckaroo supports multiple payment methods (VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, iDEAL, PayPal, etc.) but on this moment I can only connect this to one payment journal. Would it possible to connect the payment method VISA (within Buckaroo) with a payment journal VISA for example? I have tried to duplicate the payment provider and connect it via Incoming Payment in the bank configuration but that does not work; it only shows one provider there. I try to do this in v16. Any help is welcome! Thanks & regards, Wytze Jan Riedstra codeNext

Translations in version 16+
Hi, with the changed backend mechanism of translation the Developer Tools "Technical Translation" disappeared. There is a substantial movement in local community to get Slovak and Czech translations sorted out properly but using Odoo's Transifex is inflexible. OCA's Weblate seems better but... If it was lower versions I'd propose doing module sprints on live instance (using Technical Translation" and then exporting the resulting .po file but that's not possible now. What is your preferred / proposed way of doing this? We're talking whole Odoo (Community for a start) here and few people (10-20 at max) working simultaneously. Any advise is highly welcome. Thank you. Best regards Radovan Skolnik

Re: odoo accounting and IFRS posting, reporting, rules and regulations
Hi Joe,This is an interesting question. My (limited) knowledge on reporting standards, leads me to believe that having a generic IFRS compliance is asking too much to odoo. There is SO much in IFRS, that i don't see how you can have that. Having seen several SME oriented accounting software, I would say that odoo is likewise, well equipped, for simple processes; but beware of complicated processes. e.g. (but not limited to):- Recognition of work in progress (for MRP, or for long run services e.g. audit, or in the construction industry, or in the travel industry)- Everything related to consolidated figures (investment in other companies etc..)and this is just what I have in mind..So, it strongly depends on the industry, and i believe that in other standalone software, a lot of schedules are kept in Excel, and the entries are manually passed. Odoo is not worse, and at least some could be automated (customisation)My 2 cents,DominiqueOn Thu, 13 Jul 2023 at 01:48, Joerg Lorenz <notifications@odoo-community.org> wrote:Dear Community,we are currently investigating the possibility of support of odoo community for accounting with IFRS rules and regulations. Re: Odoo with a decoupled front-end
you might also want to look atIt's a bit the same concept: an headless Odoo for large ecommerce or even large portals. Today we typically ditched the LocomotiveCMS part and deploy static NuxtJS/Jamstack websites connecting to the Odoo Shopinvader REST API. Some of our customers do 3k sales per day and it doesn't break a sweat for the Odoo server. In fact we used a noSQL Elastic Search cache store for most of Odoo data like the catalog and only hit the Odoo REST API when there is a sale or some other non cacheable action. That's why it scales like crazy. That being said the migration to v16 is ongoing and there are quite a few refactors like adopting FastAPI.Again this is a great choice for projects that can afford it. Small projets can use Odoo website modules indeed. On Wed, Jul 12, 2023, 2:38 PM Diogo Duarte <notifications@odoo-community.org> wrote:Just wanted to add that:Using a decoupled storefront like Vuestorefront is not something that you will use for all projects. For most customers we use the Odoo web designer or we just totally customize the layout based on a specific design. If customer- has a big ecommerce operation
