e-Commerce categories template on another page (Odoo14)

Hi,

I'd like to bring the category template of e-Commerce (this one) on the Homepage route.

Did someone else ever did it on public repository? (currently working on odoo14 so nearest versions are fine)

I think I could literally re-use the original template and a new controller in order to send categories data on the home page, but having an example of implementation would be great.
